FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much of a deposit is required to hold a date?

We require a 50% deposit. The amount is based on the BASE amount of the booking. This does not include any add-ons/extras the client may need. Payment for grocery shopping is done separately. No booking is confirmed without a deposit.

Is the deposit refundable?

In order to get a full refund, the client must cancel the event at least 7 days prior to the booked event date. If not, the deposit is forfeited.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept Cash, money orders, cashier’s check, credit cards through Stripe (directly can be done during booking) and CashApp. Due to too many past issues, I no longer accept PayPal.

What types of cuisines are you experienced with?

Because of my upbringing, I am strongest with Italian Cuisine. However, I am proficient in French, Asian, Mexican, Spanish, Cajun/Creole, Greek, Mediterranean. One of my favorite things to do is combining two cultures, creating a fusion dish. My most popular fusion creation is my “Italian Escargot”. Ask me about it when we collaborate on your custom menu!

Can I create my own custom package, that’s not listed on your site?

Absolutely! We can go over what your needs are and will work with you on a budget to make it happen! Also, ask me about my cash-only discount.

Is the price of food included in the package price?

No, it’s not part of the package price. Depending on the event, Chef Lisa will purchase the food herself. I will then get reimbursed by the client, providing any receipts for their records. Some of my regular clients just give me the cash to go shopping. Others will send me funds via CashApp or Stripe before I go shopping. This method is a must for larger/higher-end parties. I do whatever the client is comfortable with.

How is the food served once it’s cooked?

That’s completely up to the client! Some people want the meal served at the table. Others want a buffet style. And some want a mixture of both. Some clients want me to cook and then immediately get the heck out of Dodge. lol For holiday events, we have a server that will walk around serving your guests. I want my clients to be 100% satisfied with my services, so accommodating them is my pleasure!
